Thumbs up One Month Surgiversary Report!

Today is my one month surgiversary, and I'm very pleased with my progress! Here are some accomplishments:

    • Lost exactly 20 pounds since surgery
    • Lost 3.5 inches from waist
    • Lost 2.5 inches from hips
    • Lost 1 inch from thigh
    • Lost almost 2 inches from upper arm
    • Lost almost an inch from calf
    • Breast has not changed much
    • I am walking or easy hiking almost every day and feel great (my sore joints are so much better)! I plan to start jogging, biking, and riding my horse in another week or two.
    • I am eating for health and nutrition rather than stuffing my face with anything in sight due to cravings and insatiable hunger. This is a good feeling.
    • I feel terrific and am very energetic!
    • My self esteem has improved.
    • As for water/liquids,I can get 64+ ounces every day. I keep a full jug of crystal light next to me and sip all day. No problems, but it took some getting used to (change of habits).

    Okay, the bad things:

    • One day I at something a little too fast and didn't chew enough. Well it didn't come back up but I wish it would have! I had a terrible pain and lump in my esophagus and kept burping. I needed to burp more but just couldn't get it out. It was a terrible feeling and I will not make that mistake again - ever.
    • They are getting to know me by sight at the Goodwill store.
    • I'm having trouble getting protein in and need to drink protein shakes and add protein bullets to my crystal light to keep the protein over 50/55.
    • It's especially hard being vegan and getting in enough protein...
    • I wonder if there will ever be a time when I won't have to spend so much of my day figuring out what to eat, preparing it by careful measurements, tracking everything, and taking supplements to make up the deficiencies? It takes a LOT of effort.

Today is my sleeveaversary too! I'm down 21 lbs and about the same inches as you. It drives me crazy that the scales don't move....BUT the inches are definitely coming off. I feel so good, it's crazy. I actually put on a pair of slacks for work and they were a siz 16~~ I haven't been that size in 7 years! I just don't know why the scale doesn't move faster like the inches does .. BUT Overall, I'm pretty happy to be where I'm at. The girls at work keep my positive attitude going and I love them for that! Keep up the good work! Glad your feeling good....me too!

I have only lost 20 since surgery, the rest I lost through diet and exercise over a period of months and then more on the pre-op diet.

Protein bullets are protein in a clear liquid that sometimes has a sweet/tart taste. Some Walmarts (not all) have them, some health food stores have them. They are called bullets because they come in these tubes that look like bullets. Thanks sunflower. I thought thrift shop was just where the owners took a very small return on their investment.

PS: stay where you are. Country going to the dogs. Condemn coalition. Cuts. Awful.

    PPS: plz send money. Urgent!

Those are awesome results! I donated all of my smaller clothes to Goodwill a few months ago, so when I start shrinking....I'll be paying them a visit
