Quick Question for the Ladies Out There!

I am leaving for San Diego today! I'm getting a bit nervous but I'm still excited. I just had a quick question for you that have already had your surgery...a little TMI, but I have to ask!

How many of you bothered to "shave" (everywhere you would if you were going to wear a bathing suit) before surgery? I haven't shaved above mid-thigh in ages (with all the weight it is kinda difficult, as I'm sure some of you know), and I wanted to know what some of you out there did or wish you did before surgery?

I just shaved my legs and pits.

I did not shave at all. Your legs will be covered during the surgery and if you are going to mexico women there do not typically shave their legs.

When you get out of surgery, you will not care if you shaved or not. : ) And no one but you will know if you didn't. Dr's/Nurses won't go down that far. : ) (P.S. did make sure I shaved my legs. was a little uncomfortable right after surgery to bend at waist)

I did my legs but thats because i hate feeling stubbly but it really doesnt matter if it makes you feel better to shave do it if not dont wory about it,

I knew I was going to be on blood thinners for a while so I did all my normal shaving the night before. Do you need hardwood floors? Only if that makes you feel better. Its not a requirement for surgery.

If you normally shave--do so before surgey because right after you won't be up to it.

What ever makes YOU comfortable. If hair bothers you...shave, if you don't care...they don't either!

I thought I was going to get to wear my panties, but had to take everything off. I didn't shave there cause I didn't know. Did shave legs and pits though.

I did the same though I think it's just a matter of personal preference; doctors & nurses won't care. Do what makes you most comfortable.

I also didn't shave there and I got my period the day before my surgery so I was so embarrassed to take everything off but nobody cared. I told my surgeon the night before and she said not to worry. I woke up and I was able to clean up and put on my panties and everything was great.
