Its been 3 days, day 1 was hell, day 2 was better, and day 3 is fantastic...my advice is to walk as much as you can after you wake from surgery and at least two walks a day from then on, I showered the second and third day, started with ice chips day one day 2 juice water frozen pops day 3 all of the above and chicken broth, things are gurgling goin up but thats ok just gotta do it all slow at first, so yeah everyone keeps saying on here, sipsipsip, walk walk walk, rest and embrace this journey, I was blessed to be here at Dr Almanzas facility in Mexico, omg! let me tell u 5 star service all the way, no joke! I am still here until tomorrow and almost fully recovered. There is no way I would have ever in a million years gotten the attention and pampering that I have gotten here both pre/post op. amazing staff, we have a full time chef,butler,maid and nurse 24hrs a day! Hoping the days to come will just be better and better.

I am right behind you! I will be operated on by Dr. Almanza in approximately two weeks. I am a little scared, a little excited, but it makes me feel a bit more comfortable hearing that you were satisfied with your surgery and the level of care you received. Coincidently, our weights are almost the same, I am about 236 pre-op, but our goal weight is identical. I am between 5'7" and 5''8". I weighed 140 right out of college and was quite thin.
