Hello, my name is Heavenly. I will be having my sleeve surgery with Dr. Almanza on 11-09-11. I am looking forward to this, because for the past 11years after the birth of my son I have suffered from Hypertension in which I take meds for. I have tried every diet known to man and nothing seems to keep the weight of. I hope that there is someone else who will be having the surgery around the same time, so that we can chat. I'm looking forward to finding myself again.

I was a bit nervous, too. It's normal. The post-op recovery is not all that painful, and I was off of all pain meds by the third day after surgery. Just do what the docs tell you to do and you will be fine! Congrats and best wishes!
