Had my check up with my surgeon today, and he ok'd me to go ahead with round two. I'll be getting my breast implants next Thursday, August 16th.
I go in Monday for pre-op where we will decide exactly which size I'm going with. We already picked and paid for the soft touch gummy implants, but I was considering switching to saline out of concern for not knowing if the gummy were to rupture. Doctor nixed that by saying that I'm too thin, and it is likely you'd be able to see rippling under my skin. He also nixed fat transfer saying I do not have enough fat on my body for that. I told him I've gained 5 pounds and do not feel thin at all. He laughed and said I'd have to gain another 20. Nope, hard pass. I'll go with the gummies. I bet I could point him to plenty of existing fat on my body, but whatever. It was nice of him to call me too thin, but it sucked when he pointed out the obvious... I'm very broad. I'll need a larger implant because I'm wide. Blagh! *sigh* Oh well.
I'm excited and nervous. I can't wait to see what it's going to look like.
