I'm sorry that you are still vomiting and having GERD.
I'm almost one year out and gradually tried to stop the PPI I take to help with reflux. I had a light reflux before surgery, didn't take medication and actually the surgeon told me about it after my pre-op exams I didn't even know I had it, I was just sensitive to spice and tea and when avoiding those I was fine.
Post-op reflux was really bad so I took 30 mg lansoprazole for a few months, lowered to 15 mg and right now take it every two or three days. I hope to stop it at some point.
Vomiting: besides thee days of vomiting non stop right after the surgery, I've been lucky so far.
Do you know why and when the vomiting happen? is it triggered by a kind of food, quantity or eating too fast or you can't know why?
May be starting a journal about your food intake (when, what, quantity, if you are stressed ..) could help?
Do you still see a surgeon today? for post-op every year and blood test? may be he could give you some clues of what is going on. This field, bariatric surgery, does move fast. They improve techniques and have new studies every year...a good surgeon could be a big help.
Take care
