Congrats on your surgery. Reach out if you're having any issues. There's usually always someone who's been in your shoes. The first week is the hardest for most people but it gets easier and easier every day. Have you had any post op issues so far?

3.5 weeks post op. I've been doing good. About a week ago I was ok'd to have soft food like yogurt, cream of wheat, cortège cheese etc and it has been going well, I for sure take small bites and eat slow. I'm down 15 pounds. I have noticed the mornings I don't feel that great, I feel weak and so queazy but gets better after I'm up for awhile and have had a protein drink. I am wondering if anybody else has gone though this or has any thoughts on what to do?
I'm very thankful for this website. Love hearing the experiences people share.
    Thank you
    Dolfenn

    Susan.

Empty stomach can make you feel queasy. I always feel better when I've eaten. I think it's possibly blood sugar. Because I also feel sick if I wait too long to eat. I try to have a protein bar on me at times so I can take a nibble when needed.
