While this thread pops up for those of us who have been remiss in joining in on conversations, I am reminded that sometimes these conversations can be just silly!!! The bonus points that we get after having this sleeve done are beyond measure. Yes, while the personal life improves, there are so many more wonderful things that happen to us. I would have never known about lettuce and other foods that provide ZERO benefit to me---I now have energy that I didn't even know existed---I can tie my shoes---I can bend over and pick up things off of the floor---I know foods that agree with me and those that seem to make me sluggish. This site is for sharing at every level, while some are not comfortable with the degree that some share---that is ok, there is absolutely no need to judge or attack each other---for me the sleeve has given me a new lease on life---WHAT A GIFT!!!!!! I agree. If someone doesn't like something that you post, they can move on. We are all free to share our thoughts and anything on here. It wasn't that bad of a comment. I've seen worse all around us. :-)

My hubby told me the day after I had the surgery, he really hadn't wanted me to do it. I was shocked. He acted like he did support me. I think the men are scared of losing us.
