I'm coming up on my 1 year anniversary and just wanted to know how often after the first year do you go to your doctor's for follow-up?

I saw my surgeon at 18 months, then 2 years, then annually after that. The surgeon has a bariatric program and monthly support group meetings with various speakers. The monthly meetings are suggested but not required. I see my primary care for blood work as needed, usually every 3-6 months. If I have any other issues I see my primary care physician as needed. Hope that helps.

I never saw my surgeon after the day I had surgery. I had my PCP do bloodwork at 3,6 and 12 months postop and now I go once/year to have bloodwork done and adjust my supplement regimen accordingly.
