I'm going to Tijuana for my surgery, is it safe to wear my wedding ring ect.?

lol yes it is safe .... they will make u take off ur jewelry prior to surgery tho.... just put it in ur purse or somplace safe in ur bag... they will not go thru them... just don't do what I did and put it in a glove and forget it is in there... I accidently threw away my diamond necklace.... unfortunately, by the time I realized it, i was back at the hotel, it was too late and trash had already been taken out from the hospital room i had been in...

You really won't be anywhere but the hospital or hotel and those are safe. Even if you decide to go shopping you should be fine since you will be with your group.

Thanks ladies! My fiance is going with me, so I will give him my jewelry prior to going in for surgery... I can't wait for my trip and surgery, I dreamed about it last night, it was a crazy dream! lol

i honestly hope someone did find it... at least thats better than just being thrown away..its such a pretty necklace too... i was constantly getting compliments on it....

even more unfortunate was I had had it off from when I went to the beach the week before my surgery... and I put it back on.... who knew I would accidently throw it away!!!! c'est la vie... hindsight is 20/20....

I wore my jewelry and was told my a local that I had too much on and I would be a target for thieves.
