Of course that doesn't mean you shouldn't be trying to get as much fluids as you possibly can, in whatever form you can. The 64oz rule is bare minimum. For optimum weight loss, you should shoot for 1/2 your body weight in ounces. But In the very beginning that will be nearly impossible. It actually sounds like you are doing really well so far.
