How much did everyone lose pre op?

I only have to do a 5 day pre op diet but ive been trying to do a pre op preop calorie restriction. Someone the other day said the more you lose before surgery is less you have to do after surgery so I have been meal replaceing with shakes so I am kind of used to all the liquid. I am happy to report I have lost 5 pounds in this 2 weeks. LInd of gives you a little more motivation cause I know i can do even better than I the last 2 weeks!

Nope can't blame it on surgery. I bought a water fusion bottle for p.o water.I just added fruit.I managed to get all my fluids in and I could tolerate the flavored water and the protein.Once I introduced food it has been so difficult to get food and liquids down.I HATE water period.My fluids have to be room temp and I hate the aftertaste of artificial flavoring. I know muted tummy has a real system down,I envy her! She manages to eat every 2 hours,or at least drink.I stopped drinking morning coffee because It fills me too much. I'm working on it. My restriction appears to have tightened somewhat because initially I could eat a lot more.

I only lost 6 pounds on my preop diet but I lost a total of 15 pounds just dieting before surgery

This is pretty much my line of thought too. The more we lose before, the less we have to lose after. Plus, we are preparing our bodies for a lot less caloric intake than before.
