I'm so thankful that I got a gastric sleeve and lost over 170lbs. I felt so much better but that skin was a huge problem and having that last step was the finial step of my journey. I can't even explain how great it is to be rid of that and not have that constant reminder of being obese. I have to say that it has made me more confident, athletic, I run with ease and it no longer hurts. It has been a long process of healing but it was so worth it!!!! Im down to my new goal weight and I'm so happy that i look as good as I feel!!! 190lbs lost And my 4 year sleevaversary is next month!!!! Yayyyyyyy to health!!!! That is amazing and you look awesome! I had the surgery December 14th and I've lost 34 pounds and I'm down to pant sizes. I want my sister to have the surgery she is 4 foot 11 and weighs almost 300 pounds but she doesn't want to have the surgery because she knows she'll have all the skin. You have to make this decision on her own if that's what she wants to do or not. You look great.

I'm just at the beginning of my journey, and I do wonder about how I will look in one or two years. I already have a big apron, 3 pregnancies didn't help, and losing a little weight it's becoming bigger.....since I currently live in Asia when it's hot and humid I have to take extra care of the folds....but at the same time I'm not sure I want to go for an other surgery, this one would be at least three hours!

Anyway, I have several months to think about it! I was told by my dr that it's better to wait at least two years before going for gastroplasty...

Thanks so much!!! I too am 4' 11" or so lol. If I didn't have a chance to have plastic surgery I wouldn't care. Losing my weight was such a blessing and the athlete I have become is amazing. I'm beyond happy with my tummy tuck but At 318lbs I was more concerned with living. The plastic surgery is the icing on top!!!

i have hit so many stalls its not even funny !! i need to loose another 60 lbs and im 7 months out and just dont know how i will be able to do this ! i feel my doc left my sleeve way too big because im able to eat big amounts of foods for having a sleeve !! i mean portion wise !! and im always hungry yes i drink alot of water but still hungry

Did you have your surgery done in the United States @love4mykids?? I have s support group I have been going to for years now and I have noticed that Mexico sleeves are actually smaller than the US, the FDA will only allow so much taken out. Make sure you getting enough protien in and hit that cardio like a mad lady. That is what it took for me to finially get last 50lbs off (a year). Cardio cardio cardio!!!! You got this momma!!!! I have not heard that before. How much smaller? Is that the norm for most surgeries in Mexico?
