Hi everyone,
I have gastric sleeve surgery scheduled in just 3 weeks on Sept. 1, 2015. I am excited and nervous. I hope this forum will provide insight and support to me through my new weight loss journey.

Welcome, ask any questions you have, you'll get different opinions but it is all education. You'll be learning how to live your life differently. It is a good thing but it isn't a free ride like some naysayers think.

Wendy good luck! I am in Lakewood! I hear Dr. Chae is great! My friend went to him! I had the surgery almost 6 months ago, and I couldn't be happier. I know everyone is different, but I had no complications, and I have lost 75 pounds and feel great! I have made huge changes in my eating habits, exercise and just all around how I look at things. You will do great and if you ever want to get together with someone here close just let me know! Welcome!

I have heard great things about Dr. Chae as well. Congrats on your weight loss.. you should be proud of yourself! I am getting pretty excited and can't believe it's only 10 days away. I will let you know how it goes and yes, let's get together after my surgery.
