Default I tried real food, and I liked it ;-)

So, I've been afraid of "real" (not mushy) food, even though I had permission to ease into it.
But today I realized I had to try something because the nausea was still hitting me hard and I never felt good after eating, and I've essentially felt sick and weak for 4 wks now.
So tonight I threw caution to the winds and had steamed chicken breast with some bbq sauce on it and 2 tbls of organic vegetarian beans.
I feel great! I chewed really well, it went down fine. I don't know if it's just that this was food more in it's natural state with less preservatives..but I think I just needed to not eat all my food from a box or a can, or a freaking blender. I have 3 pieces that size left so I'll see tomorrow and the next day but so far... it's 2.5 hrs after dinner and I'm just now feeling like I'd like a cup of tea.
There's nothing like the real thing, baby!

After I tried real food I was a new person. It made a huge difference. I'm glad you're doing well.

What exactly is the difference between regular beans and vegetarian beans? Aren't all beans vegetarian?

Some beans, especially refried beans, are made w/ lard, some w/ bacon, etc.

Awesome news! Splendaaa worded it perfectly... real food making you feel like a new person. I was the exact same way. Aside from my chronic nausea (which has been handled since I started Nexium), getting real food into my body made my body quit revolting against me! lol

And...I love beans with bacon and onion but the vegetarian ones have about 1/3 less carbs for some reason....
