110 pounds lost with my sleeve!

Good evening Sleeve Friends!
This morning I was launched into the 160's; I weighed in at 169.2 pounds. This is what I weighed in high school. While I still have 20 pounds I'd like to lose, I am less concerned with the weight loss numbers at this point and more concerned with overall health/well being.
I do believe that the sleeve may very well have saved my life. I was on a weight gaining trajectory that would have landed me on a direct path to diabetes, heart troubles and who knows what else.
I started this journey at 280 pounds, and down deep, I worried that I would have what it takes to make it through.
I have learned a lot about myself, and have emerged on the other side feeling like a caterpillar on the verge of transformation.
Watch me fly! And thank all of you for your support, well wishes and good advice.

This is wonderful!!!!! I started where you did, I can only dream that I could be down 110 in that amount of time!! Inspiring & thanks so much for sharing your hard work and success! (same question, what do you eat?)

*shame, shame*...most of the time, I eat what I want. I don't mean I sit around eating Doritos or Ice Cream, but for example, tonight my husband and I went out for dinner. We shared Steamed pork in wontons...like a pot sticker ( I ate one of these). I had one bite of his Tomato Basil Mozzarella salad with balsamic glaze, one bite of his salmon with pesto sauce, and about 3 bites of my Shrimp and Andouille sausage on fettucini with a butter parmesan cream sauce.
Granted, this isn't an everyday menu, but when we cook at home, we do use cream sauces, cheeses, etc. My trick is that I try to stop eating before the feeling of real restriction comes in.
And as weird as this sounds...when I eat more, I lose weight. When I am not eating high calorie meals/foods, I stop losing weight. And ironically, the more active I am, the less weight I lose.
I am an avid biker and last weekend rode 47 miles, and that was just the weekend. My weight loss had stalled, and I took the week off and upped my calorie intake and SHAZAM...the pounds started coming off again.
Very strange, this weight loss thing with the sleeve.
Not that I'm complaining....

I've only been sleeved for two weeks but I've noticed when I think I might have eaten a little too much, I'm down more the next morning. Strange I know.

I know it's crazy how the body works. When I used to diet to be successful I'd have cheat days otherwise my body would get use to the same low cal meals and stall. I'm so happy for you!

I eat what I want too. I eat normal food like a normal person, just with really small portions. I don't count carbs or worry too much about protein. I avoid some foods like bready things, but not because they're high on carbs, but just because they don't sound so good anymore. I'm down 150 pounds in less than a year... so it's working for me.
