Best NSV - fitting on a kid's amusement park ride with my 4 yr old grandson!
CFIDS =Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) Also dx with post-bariatric reactive hypoglycemia; and chronic gastritis (both sleeve complications). Permanently disabled.
Start weight 335, down to 218, up during gastritis. Have accepted there is no way to lose it with my hypoglycemia. Current weight 260. Currently doing 10 day sleeve reset and determined to get back down to my post surgical weight or close to it.
I am glad I can be an inspiration.
As for what I eat I have to admit I probably could be eating better. I still have a problem eating breakfast. but I tend to just find foods that are higher in protein and I don't eat sugary foods or high carb foods. I snag bites of my husband and sons bad food just to get rid of the craving but otherwise I avoid it. I eat fish/chicken/turkey and I just eat a small portion of it. I do snack, but my snacks are usually beef or turkey jerky, nuts (in moderation) sometimes veggies. I stopped logging my food b/c I don't want numbers to rule my life so I just take mental note of what I am eating. As for excercise, I was going to the gym (which is a small gym at my fh) a few times a week. I would bike there and do the elliptical, treadmill and some workouts on the bowflex. Sadly I have not been in a few weeks b/c my son was home alot (he is only 5). And between the hurricane and everything else it has been crazy here. But now that school is started I will get back into a routine. I am a pretty active person and I have found my activity and my desire to be more active has increased. I am not afraid to walk up that flight of stairs or walk to pick up my son from school. I went camping for labor day weekend and walking to the bathroom which was kind of far didn't seem so scary. I rode my bike around etc etc. I just keep active as much as I can.
I am living my life. It is changed and my diet ...well I don't want to call diet, my food intake has changed and I don't miss anything (Well except soda from time to time) But I feel great and I am so glad I did this, it was the best decision I have ever made!!!
