    Default very teary

Hi, I have joined a health fund and I am waiting till 1 july 11 to have the sleeve. I am counting the days as I have been very unhappy with my weight and I have plantar faciatus which is very painfull feet, so I need to lose some weight hopefully to reduce the pain. I have been in so much pain and keep eating so I need the help from the sleeve. The next 6 months cant come soon enough. So it is great to have the support from these sites to get me through.

    WELCOME!

    What is that?
I've been suffering pain in my feet & have been wondering if its due to my weight?

I've never heard of it before...?

    EDIT:
    Thank you for posting this.
I just googled it & it completely sounds like what I'm suffering from.
    It hurts right now actually!
This morning I even put on Ben Gay before putting my shoes on.
But it don't really help much.

    Once again thank you...
Just another thing that might get better after my WLS.

Thank you all for your lovely replies. These sites are the best as everyone knows what you are going through. I saw a Dr and nurse yesterday who told me that weight loss surgery is so drastic and you can do it yourself, very easy to say as they probably have never had this battle of losing weight and regaining faster and more and more.

That's why for the most part I don't tell people my plans..
Most skinny people say to me "Dude! You don't need that just exercise more & watch what you eat & bla bla bla.... Like I've never thought of that or ever tried a bazillion diets!!!

    Sometimes I hate skinny people.

People sometimes do not think before they speak! I weighted around 115-120 most of my young adult life. I then was put on steroids for 10 years and plumped up and added over 100 lbs. Yes friends did treat me different, co-workers ect.. I had a Dr. I was scrubed in a case with tell me I did not need to break for lunch , I had enough fat on me to last weeks without eating ! Needless to say, I turned him into peer review!!! My close friends and family have Never left my side! My husband has been so supportive, he said he would love me no matter what I did or dont do. I have a very nice looking husband and I cant wait till he get his nice looking wife back

Plantar Fasciatis is VERY painful, and it can result from other reasons such as high arches in your foot or from flat feet. But being overweight definitely adds to the pain! I had my plantar fasciatis treated with cortesone shots in my heel and with orthotics in my shoes years ago, but never lost the weight. Have had high blood pressure for years. Recently diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea. Have tried every diet and exercise plan, including phentermine, and always gained the weight back. So after a couple months of sleeping with the "Darth Vader" mask (C-Pap machine) for my sleep apnea, I finally decided to have the sleeve surgery. Just got home from the hospital yesterday, and am adjusting to my new life...hoping to resolve these issues and gain a beautiful new body as a bonus! Best of luck to you...all of you!
    Diane

I had mouled orthotics made for me about 1 and half years ago which helped in the beginning but I have gained more weight now and the pain is now sometimes unbearable. i have thought about cortesone but was slightly scared.
