I have A friend that is considering a gastric sleeve in Mexico. He needs to find out some information about Dr. Lopez or Dr. Valen's Waiala at A lighter me. If you can give me any information on either of them it would be greatly appreciated.

I've never heard their names mentioned on the forum. But I also went through ALighterMe and my surgeon was Dr. Elias Ortiz. He was just fabulous! And I've heard of a few others who have also used him and were very happy.

I am thinking my friend was wrong on the facility, But the names are Dr. Louisiana Valenzuela and Dr. Alejandro Lopez.

Why wouldn't you advise the surgeon you have used! I am considering him for my VSG, He is affordable

I have never heard of those doctors, but I had a phenomenal experience with Dr. Jose Rodriguez at StarMedica in Juarez through BeLiteWeight. I would happily recommend them to anyone. The whole experience was better than I could have imagined. The hospital was clean and modern, the area in Juarez was safe and comfortable, and the staff at BeLiteWeight and the doctors really bent over backwards to help make my experience the best it could possible be. I don't know where your friend is traveling from, but if Juarez is doable for him, you should have him look into it.

My friend did his own search and came up with Dr. Lopez. I did not have any info on Dr. Almanza's current where abouts, but he did a wonderful job on my husband and I. He left hospital Jerusalem and I didn't follow him.

Dr Valenzuela and Lopez are very good competent surgeons. It gets kind of crowded and competitive in the $4k-4.5K price range.
