I am on my 7th day of the pre-op diet. I am hungry and just trying to stay busy. Is it possible to over eat jello?

Probably. Just try to survive. The pre op diet is harder on some than going through the surgery. Hang in there.

I remember it as being more of a need to chew and experience flavour. This will pass as you progress. Get your water for sure and just try to keep up for now. Good luck

When you feel like overeating it remember:

Gelatin can come from the collagen in cow or pig bones, hides and connective tissues. Today, the gelatin in Jell-O is most likely to come from pigskin.

I guess not if you are a vegetarian. Also, if you are a vegetarian, be careful of foods like Worcestershire sauce, it is made with anchovies.

Large quantities of sugar replacement may cause bloating, excessive gas and nausea. Just keep that in mind when jumping in the jello tub. Leafy greens, a few cherry tomatoes, lemon juice, black pepper and a pinch (literally 1 pinch) of shredded cheese was really my damage control when I had to eat something!

Im not a vegetarian but some things gross me out... I dont like worchestershire sauce, it's gross.

Simply Delish brand makes a sugar-free vegetarian Jell-O. It's available online or at Whole Foods.
