Scared can't make up my mind

Hii an thinking of getting the operation I have some question when I have the oporation will my stomach be stapled all the time to infinity or will it get attached evantually?
And can i get pregnant after the operation. I haven't gone to see a doctor coz am scared plz tell me what to do my night is 166 and am 122 KG. So I dooo need to lose the wieght and am tiered from all the diets.

The Dr removes 80 to 85% of your stomach. It is cut away. Yes, of course you can get pregnant after the surgery.

Your stomach is cut, and it doesn't grow back, but it can be stretched if not careful. As far as getting pregnant, many women have childen after waiting a period of time after surgery.

I am feeling the same way your are and Im a nurse. I was just approved by insurance for the sleeve and the 6 month waiting period I had no worries about it, now I am really scared. I worry mostly because there really is no long term data on the sleeve because it is still considered a pretty new procedure.

The stomach will grow back together but the staples will always be there. they suggest a two year wait to get pregnant after wls. having this surgery is like breaking u with a bad boy/girlfriend. nobody can tell you anything, but when you've had enough then you have had enough and the breaking up is easy. If you stay with them then you apparently haven't had enough. Same with the weight, when you have had enough you will be ready for change.

I am in my 30's and am 16 days out and 22 lbslighter. I was scared to but Yes, you can have children and yes they do cut your stomach. It is permanent but it was the best thing that I ever did.
