It was 2 months for me August the 22nd. I haven't had any problems either. I cant believe it. I thought I was starving to death after having to drink liquids. I go to the doctor on Monday cant wait to see what I weigh. I drink my protein shake in the morning and I make sure I eat my protein first because you do get full fast. I find myself piling food on my plate at dinner only having to throw it away. So, I started eating off of the smallest plate.

Day 6 - still learning to sip. Getting down about 64 oz of fluid and 50 grams of protein. Walking a path in my hardwood floors. Wonder if the gas is ever going to go away...
Best NSV - fitting on a kid's amusement park ride with my 4 yr old grandson!
CFIDS =Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) Also dx with post-bariatric reactive hypoglycemia; and chronic gastritis (both sleeve complications). Permanently disabled.
Start weight 335, down to 218, up during gastritis. Have accepted there is no way to lose it with my hypoglycemia. Current weight 260. Currently doing 10 day sleeve reset and determined to get back down to my post surgical weight or close to it.

Sounds great all around, everybody! Sounds like good news on all fronts! And, don't worry Nina. The gas WILL go away. I had BAD gas a few times on days two and three after my surgery. It was KILLING me, but I haven't had any issues since then. EVERY DAY will get better and better!!!! Just hang in there!

30 days left before I jump on the chopping block and let the surgeon have a go at my guts. I can't wait! This last month is going incredibly slow and I have never been more ready! My wife is going for her consult with the surgeon on 9/8, and her surgery will be around 12/19 - so we'll both be sleeved by the New Year.

I feel better everyday. I overdid today and I am really paying tonight, but after sleeping I know I will be fine. No problem with any kind of soft food, even chewed and chewed on a few bites of chicken today. Did fine. Started keeping a food journal, gettting about 600 calories per day. My Dr said 60 protein and I am meeting that . Cannot for the life of me remember to sip so have to hold water in mouth and let little at time go down. That is the hardest thing for me. I am sooooo happy that I did this. I am only going to weigh and record once per week but by my clothes I know I have lost weight or inches one. Dread the hair loss because don't have much hair anyway, is anyone at that point? I recommend this to anyone.

Today is my 4 month anniversary of my new birthday! I've lost 51 lbs and 40+ inches off my body. I feel great and I average 8-10 lbs loss a month now.

My only wish... I'd taken this path sooner!

I am almost 4 months out, and I am doing fine. I can eat anything I want, just not much of it! I only weigh once a week or so, and it has been very stubborn the last couple of weeks. I am looking to my first major milestone--- under 300 pounds. I should just about be there, so that would be about 60 pounds in the 4 months---15 pounds a month should be enough for anyone!

I am having some hair loss, which bugs me a lot. My hair is pretty thick, so I don't think anyone really can tell except me, my husband, and my hairdresser. Still there is hair everywhere, which is annoying. I have slacked off on keeping track of everything I eat every day, but I think I am getting about 1000 to 1200 calories a day. The one thing I need to do better is exercise. If I got more regular with it, I know the weight would come off more quickly.

Roman, thanks for starting this thread. Such a good idea to have everyone "check in".

5 1/2 months out, 72 pounds gone. I am doing great and love this journey. I feel so freakin skinny and can hardly believe what I see in the mirror. I'm down to a size 10!

I have a picture I took on my phone and posted it on my Facebook as my profile picture but I don't know how to get it posted here so here is my fb link:

    Lisa Empey Boeres | Facebook

I've had some hair loss, started around month 4 but I am not too concerned about it, as I understand it will subside soon
