How many calories 4-6 months out?

I'm curious to know how many calories you guys are consuming that are between 4-6 months out? I'm at another 3 week stall. I'm worried I'm eating too much, and I know I'm not getting enough protein. I'm close to my goal(within 20 pounds) and I just wonder if my body is saying- this weight feels good, don't lose anymore. Or, will I keep losing???

We are almost identical in journey starting and goal-i had the exact same stall-stayed at 148 for r weeks then it kicked started again but much slower as I'm less than 20 from goal. Its just going to be slower unless u add exercise-im eating 1000 cal or less for sure each day

I'm around 700 cal per day on average. My bariatric nurse made it clear to me that calorie counting is no longer something we need to be doing post-op. As long as you're not drinking your calories or grazing all day, you won't gain weight and you should stay eating what you need .

I am getting 600-800 per day, but like Cheryl said, we really should not need to count as long as we are following sensible guidelines. The stalls will be a normal process and I'm sure you will continue to lose. I've heard that at 12-18 months is where we will settle at. I am losing at a much slower rate now but in no rush because I know it will come.

I log my food in lose it, so that is really the only reason I know the calorie count. I don't go over 1200 ever(that seems like a lot) and I am working out 5 days a week. Monday, Wednesday, Friday 3 miles, Tuesday abs and arms, Thursday legs.... What are you guys eating? My doctor had almost zero guidelines. Ultimately, I know I am doing right, but I still worry..... Today I had :coffee, Greek yogurt, and cherries for breakfast, a smart one and a salad for lunch, almonds and half of a small powerade slush for a snack, and cabbage and hamburger meat for dinner. Oh yeah, a half a glass of white zin. I didn't finish the smart one or the yogurt, but I count the whole amounts because I would rather go high on my count than low. Just giving y'all an example of a day for me!

I too log using loseit on my iphone.

Here would be an average day for me

B: Protein shake (40g protein), 1/2 c coffee
L: Beef 1oz, 1/2 nectarine, 3 pc bacon
D: Ground beef 1 oz, 1/4 c broccoli, 2 mushrooms
Snacks: 1/4 c Cheerios, pudding 1/2 snack cup, 1 Cube cheese

Cheryl----what about your liquids? I am terrified of dehydrating, I walk around with a glass or cup of water or some type of drink 24/7. And for some reason I was with the understanding that we had to have 60 to 80 grams of protein. OR are you keeping track of that by your amounts of beef and such?

The majority of my protein a day is coming from my protein shake in the morning, then through the day, I take the meat and cheese that I'm eating into account. According to my labs, my bariatric nurse said I have the best labs he's ever seen for a post op bariatric patient so I guess I'm doing something right.
Water tho... it is my nemisis. I have a very hard time getting my water in. My nurse said he wants to see me drink at LEAST 1.5 L. I've had to put a reminder pop up on my work computer that says "drink water" to remind me. I get too busy and forget. Wknds... ugh, I am awful for getting my water in. I judge how I'm doing for water by the colour of my pee. lol

Cheryl, that is a great and disciplined food plan. I'm kind of all over the place with mine. Water is the hardest part for me and I was an avid water drinker before surgery. It is getting better though. Tell me again everyone how many grams of protein and water I should be getting each day? Ps-the scale budged this morning!! Have a great Saturday!

Aim for about 70-80 grams of protein and at least 64 oz of water is what I was told.
