Hi my name is Terry. I live in maine. I almost went through this surgery last year but i ended up letting people tell me that i could dothis on my own I didn't need the surgery. the last straw was when i started having Nightmares that surgery went bad. So I ended up gaining 20 pounds to my highest weight ever 291.00 this scared me. So i decided to try to go through the surgery again This time i didn't tell anyone that is negative till I had my date for surgery. And I have told my family that i am doing this for me and I would really like there support.
My mother has tried to talk me out of it but when she starts talking about it I change the subject
So Febuary of this year,I called about the weight lose Surgery So i only had to do some of the requirements where it had been barely over a year since i tried to do this before. So I am very Excited this time i don't listen to the people that can't support me. I have told all oh my family now. I start my 2 week diet next thursday than will be operated on june 5..My husband is very supportive of this We have a 4 year old. so i need to be healthy for me and him thank you I will try to post every couple of days

You'll do fine deary. Just be sure to visit here and let us know how you're doing. Make sure you read everything your doctors gives you and follow their instructions closely. Water, protein and vitamins. Congratulations!

The journey is not easy, but sooo worth it.. You will do great and I know you'll also be posting (one day) the same comments that others make.. (I am so glad I did this for ME!! I wish I would have done it sooner) Take care sweetie and you'll do great, looking forward to hearing how things are going!! =)

if you are doing this is only for your self, i'm glad u make your mind in something that will definitely will make you feel better and have better quality of life.

thank you paullska. so far on the pre operative liquid I am doing good. So far there has only been a few tempting moments. I think I have made up my mind s o the food doesn't bother me. Sometimes its hard with the smells of different food

Hi Terry,
Glad that you are taking matters into your own hands. I have had great support by most folks and those who arent supprtive, I don't listen to. I am 1 week out, down 5 pounds and feeling great. Dont let anyone make you feel like this is wrong. This is your choice for your health!. Best of luck!!
