Pre Op Diet Headaches

Hi! I’ve started my pre op diet but cant shake the head aches. I don’t feel hungry but I cant get rid of the hunger headache. Any Suggestions?? I’m following the pre op diet, getting in all of my protein for the day, about 90g. I’m a few days in and it just seems to have gotten worse. How long should this last? Thanks for any advice.


Also I just wanted to share I got on the scale this morning and I’m officially under 300 pounds, it’s a great feeling. I know I have a looong way to go still but I’m happy with my pre surgery weight loss.

That is what I was thinking possibly the caffeine withdraw. It was pretty bad for me to.Hang in there.

I am a couple of days in as well. Fortunately my doctor allows coffee! i would go crazy! Hope your headaches subside soon! April 8 can't come fast enough

No its hunger, not caffeine. I don’t drink soda and only drink tea occasionally and its been a long time since I have had any.

I am day 11 into my pre-op diet. When I get a headache, I drink diet apple juice or water until it's time for my next shake. This helps me. Congratulations on your weight loss.

Dehydration is another cause of headaches.

Thanks for the advice. I tried to increase my water intake today, it didnt help. But tomorrow is another day and I will try again. It will all be worth it in the end.
