8 days. 20 lbs lighter

This is my first post to the forum and I just wanted to say hi. I was sleeved on the 8th of November and I can't believe how good I feel. I'm already 20 pounds lighter after only 8 days. And though I know I won't sustain that huge amount of weight loss my entire journey, Im still ecstatic.

Congrats on your surgery and loss. 20lbs in 8 days is awesome. I had my surgery Oct. 11th and as of last Wed. I am down 60lbs! Welcome to the site. Lots of nice helpful and Informed people here!

congrats the more you loose initially the less you ahve to loose when the weight loss slows down.

mine is slow, 3.5 months and 60lbs...

i feel great and it is still coming off just at a slow steady pace. we are all different and loose it differently

I too had my surgery on November 8th and I am down 27 pounds but I did lose some of that on my pre-surgery diet.....I started my full fluids today and get very full very fast and worry that I am may not be getting enough nutrients......but I guess it will all come in time.....Good Luck

Hi, I was sleeved 9/27 and my weight came off fast too. I was 160 lb. on day of surgery but I had a filled lap band. Within two weeks I dropped to 145, now I'm 141. I'd like to make it to 135 but since I'm so close to goal the weight is coming off slow. But since I'm so close already I really can't complain.
