    Default Wreak

My husband and I were sitting at a stop sign at a T intersection. There is a feeder street to a major freeway that is allowed to go 50 mph. She was going about 60. She lost control, came over three lanes of the feeder hit a curb, grass area another curb and headed straight for us. We had nowhere to go as there was a care in front of us and behind us. We were hit and sent airborne, hit a curb and turned us 180 degrees. She hit the driver side front panel and part of the door. I was just 10 days out of having my sleeve. My chest and left side started to immediately hurt. My husband and I walked away though with just bruises and a few cuts and sprains. We are so blessed. They took us by ambulance and I had cat-scans done. No internal bleeding or issues. I'm just very sore. I have not lost any weight. I don't know why except for stress. Our car is totaled.

Yikes! Thank goodness you are OK. Your body has now gone through two major stressors. I know it's hard not to see the number fall, believe me I do, but put that number maker away and just let yourself heal for awhile. It will happen.

A few weeks have gone by since your earlier post. Just checking to see how you are doing both from the accident and to see how the sleeve is doing.
God must have been watching over you.
    Hugs,
    Kathy
