?Anyone else always cold?

2 days post op, Ive noticed that I am really cold sometimes. Quite different then before, since I would sleep with the window open sometimes in the winter, lol

I am 15 days post op and I have now started to sleep with socks on. Never experienced this before as I am always hot.

Between the intensified hot flashes, I'm always freezing. It's been 5 months since surgery. Not getting much better. But today is the first day of Spring! Maybe we'll start thawing out!

Constantly freezing!! This winter was there worst, I get chilled to the bone & takes forever to warm back up! Thank goodness I invested in an electric blanket last fall!!!!

Freezing, especially at night. Went from shorts to pj's and flannel sheets after surgery.

I too started sleeping with long pajamas and socks on and still get cold! I have always been the one to be too hot. It's the weirdest thing! I am three months post op.

Before being sleeved, I would always run warm. Now after I eat, my hands and feet FREEZE. I am cold, but only certain parts of my body. I have "cold spots" now. Its so weird. I always feel one step away from being dead (cold to the touch).

I was always hot before surgery. I am 3 1/2 months out and now I am cold a lot. I used to sleep with a sheet on and that was it (and a fan going). Now I am under my comforter and a heavy fleece blanket and no fan! hahaha

I froze to death all winter. I stayed in front of the fireplace in either a hoodie or a thick sweater every time the temp went below 50! I still get cold much easier than I did. It's weird because I was never one of those people who was cold all the time.

I'm with all of you. I now know what it is to dress in layers. All winter I went out with t-shirt, sweater, light jacket and coat - and of course gloves and a blanket in the car just in case. When I went to someone else's house I would ask if it was ok if I put my warm slippers on (my shoes just didn't keep my feet warm). No one ever minded. But, I've always slept with about 5 pounds of blankets on my bed, now I don't have to have the window open or the air conditioner on all the time.

My doctor told me that it is carbs that provide your heat. Without them you are going to run colder.

I am not freezing but I definitely not as hot as I was before. I still go out without a jacket and then I am surprised that I am actually cold. Weird...
