psych evaluation fail. lol

So I go to my appointment at 10:30am today and they say "hey you were supposed to be here at 9:30am so you missed your appointment." Followed by we can get you in on April 2nd. I told they gave me the wrong time on my appointment card and voice mail from yesterday. They said they did not give me the wrong time. I asked for their manager and showed them the appointment card and let them hear my voice mail. Now they've decided to get me an appointment on Monday at 8 am..

I am guessing this typically wouldn't be so bad but I'm trying to get all of this done so i can have enough time to heal so I can help my fiance with the birth of our daughter. I don't want her to try and do it all after having the baby by herself. I had the right to complain right?

Frustrating but breathe. You'll get there. I remember having several frustrations but it does work out. I had a hard time locating 2 years worth of medical records.

I think you did the right thing. They gave you a time and you were there. I'm glad it got it all worked out.

I would of sat my ass in the waiting room and said "you said my apt was today so when you have time ill be waiting"

Don't you love it when you have the proof right there and there's nothing they can do to fight you about it! VINDICATION!!!! Glad they're getting you in Monday!! Good luck

I would have done the same thing. Accidents happen- we are all human- but, I would expect that it be corrected without putting me a month behind schedule.

Ugh...rocky start for something you were already nervous about. I'm glad you were able to get in sooner rather than later. They owed you that much.

Of course you had the right to complain. You have to be your own advocate.

It never ceases to amaze me though, when doctor's offices don't mind letting you wait in their waiting room for over and hour but as soon as your late for an appointment, they want to reschedule (has happened to me numerous times).
