Im living in the Baltimore area and I'd love to talk with some other folks who live around here as well.
Feeling good! Only took pain meds at night for about 4 nights. Getting in my liquids and protein, no nausea. Have started walking on my treadmill and can do .7 miles in 20 minutes. That's a bit slower than before, but I held off working out for a while. Doing some work from home this week and expect to be back in the office next week. All in all, this has been much less traumatic than I thought it would be from reading many of the posts.
I'm glad to hear you are doing well. My recovery did not go so smooth but I am great now and so happy that I made the decision to have the sleeve done. I was working out 5x a week but ive dropped to 2x a week and my weight loss has been the same for a while. Ill have to get back up to 5x a week. Its just so hard. I hate working out lol. And I have been eating more carbs than I should be. Its gonna be a struggle forever I think. But its like my surgeon said, the sleeve is just a tool to help us get started, its up to us to keep the weight off by sticking to the rules.
