Yes, I had heard others' stories so I am aware of the possibility, however I was busy doing something and never gave it a thought thinking it was just gas. TMI I know. I'd like to think I do have common sense, most of the time. Live and learn.

I just innocently farted and all of a sudden I was clenching my butt cheeks and racing for the bathroom...Of course EVERYONE was home and they all laughed at me but I took it in stride...After all, i did just poop my pants.

Okay .. First 2 days after surgery ,not a one ..but on day 3 started farting ..instant
relief of some of the stomach discomfort ..even thought I had to have broken the record for
" the worlds longest fart!" Thinking this farting is from the stuff used to blow up my stomach and that it will lesson in a few days..

LOL ..justwanttobenormal!!!!!!!! You saved my day.. I had been "farting up a storm "for 2 days .. Thought nothing of it."just surgery related.. Was just outside my front door .. And felt the need but for some reason your post "popped " into my mind .. Just opened the door and went to the bathroom.. Yuck has my first loose BMI since surgery .. You saved my day ! So thanks for the post !

Everyone needs a laugh! And what a learning experience this has been. Believe me, once it happens, you will NEVER want to experience it again. On the plus side, I'm tightening up my butt cheeks daily! That's a form of exercise, right? I'm gonna have the tightest butt cheeks around...woohoo! I've also experienced being out and about and you get the urge where you have to go to the bathroom and you're like, 'Oh no. Oh no'...where's the bathroom...I hope it's a 'decent' bathroom where it flushes well...you know the ones, right? And you start to panic because you hope you're gonna make it. Calgon..take me away!
