Test a little and see how you feel, I ate a lot of tuna salad/ham salad/chicken salad in the pureed stage and my dietician said that was fine as long as it didn't make me feel sick or hurt when i ate it. I'd chop down my canned meat (tuna/chicken/ham) really well, mix it with a tiny bit of lite mayo and relish, just chew it really well before you swallow. Remember your stomach's still healing! You also might try refried beans, i'm not usually a fan but found i LOVED refried black beans mixed with a little salsa!! When i graduated to the soft foods stage i'd mix in a little ground seasoned turkey and make a little tortilla rollup, pretty tasty and a nice change of pace from the bland cottage cheese/pudding/etc we tend to eat early on! Good luck!!

Tuna was fine for me in purees, but of course I had to actually puree it! I pureed regular tuna with a little bit of olive oil mayo and sugar free pickle relish. I also got those little packets of flavored tuna. I pureed the hickory smoked tuna with low carb bbq sauce and the thai spicy tuna with sriracha sauce. It was really good.
