Mexico Dr Finalist

Been researching and have pretty much settled on these 3 surgeons in Mexico:

Ariel Ortiz, Obesity Control Center

Guilleremo Alvarez, Endobariatric

Dr. Lopez, Specialized Bariatrics

Any info on any of them would be GRATEFULLY appreciated. If you don't want to post it here, please PM me.

Dr. Lopez is the cheapest then Dr. Ortiz and Dr. Alvarez. Money is not the only consideration though. I am looking at having Lapband removed and a sleeve put in place.

I go see my primary care physician on Friday, 1/31/13 and if I get his blessing want to move on it as soon as I can.

I had my sleeve surgery done at OCC with Dr. Ortiz.... can't say enough about the entire process.... BEST decision I have ever made...

If I can make a suggestion... Lori, one of his coordinators had her surgery the same day as me... She had her band removed and revised to the sleeve... She is a wealth of knowledge and also a good friend... I call her my sleeve sista!! We had our surgery April 16, 2012. Feel free to email her at Lori@obesitycontrolcenter.com. Just got back home after hubby having his gastric sleeve surgery by dr Alvarez"....we're very pleased with dr Alvarez and his staff...I'm on a 2 week preop diet and will have my band removed and have the sleeve on February 18th.

I had surgery with Dr Quinones in Tijuana. He was AMAZING! It has been 10 months and even now if I have any questions I can call him or his staff and they are happy to answer questions (no matter how silly). I really have felt that I am cared for and not just another number or patient

Had mine with Dr. Lopez. I reached my goal in 6 months and had nooooo problems. He is nice, funny and has a excellent bed side mannar. If you pick him you will not be sorry
