    Default Liquid protein

Has anyone tried the NEW WHEY liquid protein? I bought it @ Walmart and it has 42 gr. of protein in the tube. I just chilled it and drank it out of the tube and it was terrible! It was only 3.8 oz and with the 42 grams of protein I forced it down. I haven't felt great after I drank it and my blood pressure went up....(not sure if that would be the reason or not) Anyone else that has tried these I would love to hear you opinions! Thanks in advance!

Yep! I tried it too. A six pack for $16.oo. I thought it would be a good source of protein, being that I had such a problem with getting my protein. I drank it, only because I paid for it, but it was so NASTY!!!! I vowed never to buy it again. It does have a significant amount of protein if you can get pass the taste.

I can't drink it either, makes me sick... I will be taking the unused portions back to Walmart and see what else I can come up with.

Have you tried the powder protein? That is what I am drinking. Iso Cool in Vanilla Creme and Chocolate creme. Really like it. At first mixed with water now mixed with milk ( I use unsweetened almond milk). Hope this helps!!!!

Have you tried mixing it with some other drink or food, when I was trying to find a protein that I liked and was going through a few, so I wouldn't waste my money I started mixing the bad with other protein drinks or milk, or soup, or juice. This was helpful until I landed on what I could drink and somewhat like. My most recent purchase is what they call non-flavored powdered protein that I use to add to things like soup, hot drinks and other items. It is not great but I am doing much better getting my protein in. Good luck to you.

I use them... I dilute them in my water, especially when I go to the gym. 32 oz of water, 1/2 of the protein bullet with a couple squirts of Mio. It's a great way to get some protein in while working out. I also use them in my shakes when I make them.

I tired it and it was terrible. I did mix the last of what I had with something else and managed to get it down. I really do not see how how these body builders eat and drink some of the things they do. Just nasty. Beware of the unflavored protein powder and soup. You can only use it in something that is lukewarm because otherwise it clumps up and turns totally nasty. I hate lukewarm anything so, that never worked for me. I used to do protein shakes and such but I am so far out now ( surgery July 2013 ) that I can eat protein bars and get my protein from some meat sources. I won't get into all of what I can and cannot eat because it is very personal as you will find out. One person can eat chicken, someone else might not be able to digest it. Any of you can try what others recommend, but don't be discouraged if it doesn't work for you. Just find somthing else.

I drink the shot every other day. I really don't like it, but getting the necessary protein intake I need is vital. I will continue drinking the shots. It made me feel bad a couple of times, but after that I felt o.k. Good luck
