Will the hair grow back???

Hello everyone . I'm going to have my surgery on the 21 at and I am so concerned about losing my hair. I'm even more concerned now because I had an older lapband patient who barely had any hair on top ahhh. Please tell me it doesn't thin that much and also that it will grow back like pre surgery after a year or so. Thanks in advance.

I am a Lap Band Patient and dident lose too much. Course I had plenty to begin with.

I have been staying on top of my protein and water intake! I had some hair start coming out a little more than normal so I went to Walgreens and bought the AG Pro pills. There is 180 pills for $18 and it says to take 6 but I take 3. They are behind the pharmacy counter so you will have to ask them. I guess because they cost more than $10??

I had a little thinning and shedding, but I started taking biotin and as my multi vitamin, my doctor switced me to pre-natal vitams and everything starting getting back to normal.

Mine has been coming out for the past month. I get all mo protein , water,vitamins and even take biotin. I do have alot of hair, but I wish it would stop!

I have a little bit coming out too. No biggie so far but my hair is very full of static. Not sure why.

My hair has fallen out in an extreme way. It's baby hair thin now and it was thick to begin with. I always blowfly it now for added volume. And it's still falling out with no signs of re growth. I have obviously thin hair now. But it's all worth it. I am do happy with my weight loss. Hair loss vs 80 pound weight loss, I will take it.

Something I read really made sense to me. What you eat now is how your hair will look in 3-4 months. So when you eat only a liquid diet for a few weeks, your hair suffers the consequences. The upside is that it will stop and will grow back with all the wonderful protein you will be eating everyday.

I have a lot of static too...does anyone know why? I am a year out and my hair fell out in bunches. My hairdresser says it is growing back but I still see 3 strands on my head. I am so depressed about it but they all keep saying it will grow back. Does anyone have static?

I swear by Sheng Fa, in less than a week I went from having hair in my hands after I showered to just a couple hairs, I took 1 pill in the AM and one in the PM for a couple months (I have always gotten all my nutrition in from food sources - not shakes & my vit level's have been normal range since 2 months out by taking just a multi-vitamin)

I went to dye my hair today and I thought it looked like it was thinning but I am not sure if I am just being paranoid. It seems that since I have grown my hair past my shoulders, I always have hair in my hands when I am rinsing it out in the shower.
I am taking my biotin, eating my protein and struggling to get those liquids down so I am going to try not to OCD about it.
