I started the pre-op diet March 7th weighing 288 lbs. Last Tuesday I weighed myself and I was 188. 100 lbs. gone in seven months. I'm beyond thrilled at my progress. I walked into the surgeon's wearing size 44 jeans with no belt. Today I had to buy new jeans, size 36. I've had to buy new jeans every two to three months. I figure I'll probably stop at a 34 waist once I hit my goal of 160 lbs. I'm still struck by how different I look. Sometimes I don't recognize what I see in the mirror. I see the surgeon on Wed and can't wait to share all of this with him.
