    Default Stalled again

Hiya. I am 2 months out and the weight loss has been gradual and consistent except I have not lost anything for the last 2 and a bit weeks. I keep my calories between 800 and 1000 per day. I drink loads of fluids and I get regular excercise of at least 40 minutes per day.
I don't know why I have stalled. Has any one else encountered this problem? I just don't know what I am doing wrong. The only thing I know I don't do is take extra protein. I hate the shakes, so I was hoping I was getting enough from my diet.
Does protein have that much of an effect with weight loss? Or is it normal to have a 2 -3 week stall.
I would really appreciate you comments from the UK.
    Thanks x

protein has tons to do with weight loss. Try tracking your food and exercise, which you need to switch up every couple of days to keep the body reacting. Increase your calories that will help snap your body out of starvation mode

Don't give up, stalls are normal but up that protein to help with metabolization!

Yes, the protein intake has a lot to do with weight loss. Do you like fruit smoothies? You could try putting some protein powder in them instead of drinking shakes.

I'm with you on the protein. Taste horrible and I can't choke it down. I found a protein powder called Sytrax Nectar that is wonderful. It comes in alot of flavors and actually tastes like the flavor. I just got a tub of the Lemonaide flavored stuff, mix it with low acid OJ and water. Can't even taste it.
I don't work for them. I just love this stuff. I found a sample pack that had all the flavors they make and tried them all till I found my favorite. Might be worth a shot.
I'm also 2 months out and the scale has been stuck for a couple of weeks. I figure this too shall pass.

You don't mention your calorie levels or how much protein you ARE getting... I'm betting the culprit lies in one of those.

Hi Donna, I am nearly 4 weeks out and the first week I lost 11lb. In the past 2 1/2 weeks I have stalled and my weight has flitted between 2lb. I am taking in around 400-550 cal a day. I don't know what to do to get the weight shifting. It's so frustrating. Where do you get your protein shakes from? US supplies are better. Hope you're well? X

Thankyou so much for all your comments. I think my problem lies in protein. I am not a big meat or fish eater, so protein lies in occasional tuna, cheese and milk products. In the uk you can only buy 1 form of low carb protein and it tastes disgusting. They do protein bars but these are high in calories. Guess I am just gonna have to try and get at least 1 in a day. Yuk!!! What flavour do I choose?? Horrible chocolate, strawberry, which is just about bearable or vanilla.? I haven't tried this 1 but not a lover of vanilla. Will let you all know when I start moving again.
    Thanks xxx

Can you check online? I know things are quite different there (my husband lived in London for ages), but you can find just about anything on the internet.
