just wondering what the go is with bowel post surgery....hasnt happened yet and feeling bloated and worried. finding it hard to swallow the movicol...any tips?

I took a Doculax everyday for the first week...after 3 weeks I take 1 every few days just to make sure things are moving along. Keep in mind your not eating much solid food at this point..Just dont trust the gas...lol It will surprise you....

It took about three days before I was able to go and I spent weeks being irregular. Things will get back to normal. Make sure you get plenty of fiber and water else you'll have dry, painful bowel movements.
