Need relief from constipation.

Hi all, sorry if this is tmi, but what do you do for the constipation? I am 7 days out and it is horrible.

I used stool softener and if that doesn't work try the Metamucil hope all goes well soon I remember those days .. NO FUN!! LOL

So sorry that you are experiencing the constipation. I had the same identical problem and still struggling. The metamucil tablets and/or fiber tablets really really helps. Good Luck...

The best thing I have found for constipation is Miralax (other than increasing your water intake.) You mix it in your water like metamucil, but there is no gritty aftertaste. Plus, the Metamucil you mix has plenty of sugar it it (which is why they make a sugar-free version also.) Best thing I have ever used for myself, and for any of my patients who have that problem.

The Miralax works great. One scoop a day, every day, for as long as you need. Mix it into anything. If it becomes a chronic problem and you have Rx coverage, your Dr can write a prescription.
