Countdown!!!!!

Well, Monday is it! It has been 13 years since I first became interested in WLS. But God's timing is ALWAYS best! I have a feeling that the blessings in my life are really going to begin opening up! I am optimistic, not afraid at all. I am excited, and READY for my life's transformation. I have been having a hard time getting in 5 protein shakes a day on this liquid diet, but I;m still positive about my journey. I go in at 5:15am, for a 7:15am surgery.

Welcome to gastric sleeve! I'm 4 days in and I don't regret anything! I'm also like you. I started my journey 10 years ago and there were too many road bumps in the ways. Recently found and amazing program and here I am! Good Luck! Heal Fast! Enjoy the ride....it's not easy but it will be worth every pound!!

I am ready for my amazing new journey of a life as well. My surgery is scheduled for Monday at 10am. I have to be in a 7am. I just cant believe it is really here. ALl my life I have been overweight and unable to control myself on diet. I see it, I eat it. I don't know when to stop. I will NOW listen to my stomach because it will make me. Since I have started this liquid diet, it is now making me listen! I somehow can not eat much or drink much. Weirdness. Go us!! God always has the plan and timing!!

Same here, I almost did bypass in 2006, then almost the lap band two years ago. It didn't feel right so I prayed about it and ended up not doing it. Now, everything is in place so this seems right. I start my pre-op diet on Thursday, just liquids for 12 days. I'm naming it a fast for God because otherwise, I'm not sure I could do it. Good luck and best wishes!!
