Ok I'm wondering who's had the surgery in Mexico?

If you guys can be so kind in stating the Doc's name, price, and experience. I want to get this surgery done before august 20th. And I'm unfortunately going alone since all I got are my kids. I wonder if my son can come and help me out? Oh well your experiences will be GREATLY appreciated.

I had mine on June 6 in Tijuana through Mexico Bariatric Center. It was $4700, and my doctors were Valenzuela and Cabrera. I went by myself, and it was no problem. I'll be happy to answer any questions you have.

How old is your son?

My son will be coming with me, he is 23. It is making him feel safer to know that he will be there to 'protect' me, and to watch over me. I had a tremendous illness 3 years ago where I almost died and spent 7 weeks in the hospital, so he will feel better to be with me. And anything to make this a bit easier for him. I will be using Dr Kelly and the cost will be $5300-6300 depending which hospital we use.

My son is 14 but looks so much older, that was my thing too. I had a stroke a couple of yrs back and even though nothing happen to me after the stroke as in numbness etc. He feels like he needs to take care of me at all times. Lol Well I literally will have like 4,800 for the surgery. How much was the deposit so I know ahead of time? And do I just book it and that's it?

I had surgery with Dr Kelly, he was amazing! I would do it again in a heartbeat! I just wish I had it done sooner, I had wasted so much time on my health ins. two years! I am doing well, my husband went with me and was able to stay right in the room at the hospital with me. good luck
