Need Protein Ideas!!!!

I am 8 days out of surgery. Deep down inside I know I am not meeting my daily protein intake. Anyone have any ideas for great tasting protein drinks? In desperate need.

Walmart has some awesome high concentrated protein shots. About 30g in 3 ounces, of close to that. I had the same problem not being able to drink and eat enough but this was so little it was a lot easier.

I have found a great 20 gram protein bar called 'Pure Protein' i got them at Walgreens of all places but im sure GNC or other such like places has them. I got the chocolate ones but there was peanut butter flav also.
In morning i take 1% milk an put 1 1/2 scoops protein powder an drink this for brkfst or a lunch, then othr meals during day can be normal. I have found alot of Protein bars hav too many carbs so look at the carb an sugar content before choosing... The Pure Protein is low in both.
I detest the thick protein shots .... Bleh i want to Vom just thinkn abt it lol

Protein shots are nasty... in my opinion.
I am still liking EAS products and Muscle Milk Lite. 100 cals.
It's tough to find what you like except by trial and err. buy small amounts until you find the right one for you.

Oh shoot.. forgot what they are called. It's in the pharmacy section. I'm not too fond of the taste either but I just couldn't drink enough or eat enough of anything else and I found getting my required protein in was a bit more important than not doing it because of taste.

They are called "Protein shots" they are in a plastice tube, like an oversized lab test tube. I bought a six pack and have gotten three down. I choked each one down. I hope you have better luck than I did.

ok, so i just tried something and it was great... have you guys ever heard of MIO? its sold in the drink mix section of walmat. its flavored liquid that comes in about 8 diff flavors. zero calories, zero fat zero pretty much everything. They are good. I just put vanilla protein powder (body fortress from walmart) in a shaker bottle with 1/2 zero fat milk and 1/2 water and put a small squeeze of the peach mango Mio in it and shook it up. MAN it was really GOOD!

I just ordered a sample pack of the Protica (Profect Protein Beverage | Ready-to-Drink Protein Beverage, Profect 25g, Profect 50g, Profect 200g). I want to try the sample pack before I drop $75 on the whole case of them. LOL. I'll keep you posted on how I like it!

I don't know - I haven't tried them. But sometimes if you get them really cold they go down easier? Just a thought.
