Coffee!!!! :d

So, I had my first coffee post sleeve.
Small, sugar free, skinny Turtle Latte from my fave coffee house. Skim milk, sugar free syrups(caramel, chocolate, and pecan), 90 calories, and 0 guilt.
It was complete heaven.
I may have to try to duplicate it at home somehow.
Also, I discovered they have protein smoothies that can be altered by subbing skim milk for the lowfat ice cream base and using sugar free syrup instead of regular. They have 20 grams of protein for a small.

Anyone make their own lattes, etc? Because as much as I love this place, I am so NOT developing a $3.50 a day latte habit.

I'm hopeful now! I'm scared I won't be able to tolerate the occasional coffee afterword. I always make my own at home, I make ice coffee with Splenda, almond milk and sugar free hazelnut syrup. I'd miss it so much. :0)

I just had my first coffee that I could tolerate post sleeve today! It was super tiny like 1/4 cup of strong coffee I made at home and just a splash of organic milk. I loved it the only issue is it made my feel hungry! my stomach was growling and everything! I think the caffeine was the issue.

Yes, I make my own lattes as well as coffee blender drinks. I have a variety of sugar-free syrups and usually use 2% although I should think about using skim and adding in powdered milk. Have started playing with options so that way I m familiar with it all once I have my sleeve.

I was drinking coffee the moment I was discharged. I usually do a black coffee, but needing he protein have swapped to macchiato topped up. Yummo.
