Cold all the time now.....

I am one week post-op today and everything is going great so far. One thing that I have noticed is that I always seem to be cold now. In the past, I was always rather hot-natured. Has anyone else experienced this?

Ohmigosh! Me too! I was seriously going to post this same question today. I am 10 days post op. I use to keep my house at a very nice 68 degrees and still wore tanks and shorts. I now have my thermostat set to 74 and I'm finding myself wearing pants and long sleeves, lol.

This is very common and for me it means you are losing weight (congrats). I am 11 weeks post op and still feel cold everynow and then. The outside temperature now is 85 and I am wearing a light sweater and socks and covering my head. It will ease off but comes every now and then.

I am still cold every day and hate it!!! But I guess we just have to get used to it

I am exactly the same freezing all the time. I also used to be hot all the time and even during winter would wear short sleeved, I am in Austrailia and we are going into winter and already i can not get warm. Not looking forward to the next 3 months of cold weather.

This is too funny! I am 16 days post op. I am super cold all the time. In the past I have never been cold a day in my life, not even in the winter. My thermostats are on 85 most days now. My husband thinks I am crazy as hot as it is outside. Lol! He just goes to a cooler part of the house. He is so accommodating! Lol!

YESSSS! I used to be the human furnace and now I have been wearing sweatpants and sweatshirt all the time. I have been hiding under a big blanket to stay warm too. I used to sleep with just a thin quilt and a fan on me in the winter and now I sleep with the fan facing the wall (I still need the noise) my quilt and a comforter. My nose is an ice cube too.

I just now started to get cold spells myself - typically I am an furnace and I am freezing my poor husband out with the AC being so cold...Now I am having to use winter blankets...heh.

ME TOOOOOO! I thought I was the only one! I've always been the hot one (no not hot-looking) at work. Now, I run around cutting up the A/C when the exercise classes have turned it down. It was 65 in here this morning and I was FREEZING!! This might be a good side-effect though, my electric bill might be less this summer! Hmm, I guess I better go ahead and invest for some new blankets for the winter!
