First post-op visit with surgeon

Had my first post-op visit with my surgeon today.
All went well and I have transitioned to purée (home made hummus here I come) for the next three weeks.

I am allowed to resume "jogging" but only if I continue to manage 80oz fluids in addition to my protein.
Currently back to 8,000 steps a day with cardio x3 week (1.5 miles but can now up to 2 miles) .... No weight training for a month

I was curious about the removal of my stomach as my scars are so small. In addition to my umbilical wound have 3 scars less than a half inch on my abdomen .... he confirmed it came out via the umbilical wound.

I feel great, have not had any nausea or pain since discharge (next morning after surgery) and am eating half cup total x 3 day + 2 protein.
I am so glad that I changed my eating prior to surgery as I am now almost back to that with some deficit in calories.

I have 36 pounds to reach my goal ... I expected to resume my slow and sure of 2 pounds a week due to my pre-op work but have been pleasantly surprised with the larger number.
