HAIR! I gots me some HAIRS! :-)

I dont know why I did not buy a couple wigs a year ago! I guess I was too proud or it just felt weird. I bought three the other day and they all look very natural! Its a bit hard for me to get use to, but I'm working on it.

I just couldn't stand it anymore...here I had worked so hard to lose weight, went through the agony of a tummy tuck, arm lift, breast aug and face lift....everything was perfect...EXCEPT THE HAIR...or lack of it!!!!!

The little Korean girl at the Beauty Shoppe told me in Korea, when they have little girl babies, it the baby's hair is very thin, they shave the baby's head so the hair grows back thick...I might just do that to my head!!!

you look awesome! Ive been taking biotin and it has thickened my hair.....im worried about losing too much hair after surgery. My hair is already thin so we'll see.....just do it....shave your head and see what happens. I shaved my sons hair when he was 4mths old and his hair is so thick its disgusting! Anyway you look nice with your new hairs...lol

Thanks, Bessie! Ive been taking all that stuff!!! Biotin, Folic, Fish Oil, Silica...my hair never "fell out"...at least I never saw it on my pillow or in the shower like some gals mention...it just stopped growing and it is just dry, dead hair. It was always thin, too but now you can see my scalp!

My mother did that to me when I was a baby, she kept either cutting or shaving my hair and now I have really thick hair, can't hurt to give it a try at this point? My hair is already dye damaged, I started taking Biotin now, I hope I can alleviate some of the loss when it starts to happen, my hair is the only feature I like on me right now..=/

On the subject of hair loss, my pamphlet says it is a temporary thing, so will the hair eventually grow back or is it just dependent on the person like saggy skin?

I love your new hairs! Wigs have come a long way. I have two now, they are addictive... must... get... more...wigs!!! They are so much fun! My hair is growing back in nicely, but man, those wigs make it easy to get ready for work when I am running late! People compliment me on my hair when I am wearing them, so it's my guess that they don't look fake. Go to Youtube and check out the things on wigs that people have posted. You can get all kinds of good tips on wearing wigs that way.

Mine? My real hair is about as short as yours. I don't wear that little stocking cap thing on my head that some people do under wigs. I do use hairpins crossed in an X down under the hair on my wig and through to my own hair. I do this at the crown, a little behind the temples, and in the back. It makes the wig very secure, and since it doesn't move around, I have noticed it does not get itchy. Also, I don't keep it a deep dark secret that I wear wigs. No more than I would contact lens.

By the way, I think I may continue wearing wigs because they are just so much fun!!! I am greatly surprised to discover that my husband gets a kick out of me wearing them, too. maybe it is because I am having a blast with them

I am 9 months out and I have lost a lot of hair. I have very fine hair to begin with and it really has thinned out, I don't have any bald spots or anything, and most people can't tell, but I can tell especially when I put my hair in a rubber band....
