Most of you are not hungry after surgery. I really, really, am...anyone else?

Since the surgery I have really been battling hunger! I keep seeing posts about people so happy cause they're not experiencing hunger. Has this happened to anyone else? I wonder if my stomach was backwards and the part the regulates hunger got left in

Sometimes hunger is actually thirsty. I track my food to make sure that I am eating regularly and if its too soon for a meal, then I drink.

I wasn't hungry in the beginning, but at about 4 months out hunger started cropping up. I've learned that the sleeve is very personal, very different, for all of us. In my instance, the lack of hunger early on helped me not overdo it but at times, now, the restriction helps a lot. I'm sure you will find good restriction still.

I'm hungry and can eat and drink more than most. I can eat almost like normal but I stop myself. I only started feeling restriction after 3 weeks. So now I cant get as much but an hour later its like I am starving again.

I was hungry for about the first four months - constantly. Now, I am hungry at the usual mealtimes. I dont worr about it. I eat until I am not hungry - not until I am STUFFED.

I experienced the same thing, it's not hunger, its the acid in your stomach. It makes you feel like you are hungry but you relly aren't. I went to my gastro doctor and he put me on a perscription medication called aciphex. After a few weeks I no longer have that hunger feeling. Please don't eat because you think you are hungry, that will slow down weight loss. Go to your doctor and tell him what you are feeling. Good Luck to you!

Make sure you are getting in your water and protein, I have not had hunger signals yet. But I usually watch my time so I will know when to eat and I drink all day long.
