Read the book !!!

Hi, I am 12 weeks post-op and have really enjoyed being a part of this forum. I have learned so much. But I just ordered the book called "The Gastric Sleeve" written by Dr Guillermo Alvarez. It is great. I would definitely recommend getting a copy before surgery. It is an easy read and will answer so many of the questions that you have. And I'm still learning. I would also recommend "The Emotional First Aid Kit: A Practical Guide to Life After Bariatric Surgery, Second Edition" - it is an INCREDIBLE book and by far the best I've read about what to expect and how to prepare for lifelong success. I bought the paperback on Amazon as well as downloaded it on to my Kindle.

I too have a copy of Dr. Alvarez's book. It is awesome. Your can order it off of his website Bariatric Surgery Mexico - Weight Loss Surgeon Mexico I am on my second copy as I lent mine to someone and never got it back. It is a great book.
