that is really too bad. I never thought about it before, but it is really too bad. i read the article and I wouldn't ask for a donation to help with the surgery costs, just a good samaritian thing. But I guess if I don't want it, no one does. ;-)

I wasn't trying to put a hoax out there, but I also figured it was something that didn't happen since we hadn't heard of anyone here doing it. Just really bitching about all this skin I want to get rid of without having to pay thousands of dollars for plastic surgery.

Does your insurance do "medically necessary" plastic surgery under any circumstances? I found out mine does, so I'm keeping up with the documentation and crossing my fingers... and saving just the same. Oy.

It does, but I haven't had any "medically necessary" issues yet.

I'm mostly hoping that most of it will go away on its own over time. I just can't justify the big bucks to assuage my vanity, at least not yet. Maybe in a couple of years when it's still hanging around, I'll be ready to fork out some dough, but for now, I'll just try to build up muscle to fill in the spaces and hold things up better.
