I totally screwed up on my March goals, but today is a new day and a new month, and I am back on track. My goals for April are-

1)No more than 60 grams of carbohydrate per day
2)Continue to work out 4-5 days per week
    3) Replace 1 meal per day with Premier Protein drink
    4) Replace Oatmeal for Breakfast with Egg (less Carbs)

HOPING and STRIVING to lose 13# this month so that I can hit "Onederland"! I am going to do my best to make it, but if I don't I have to be able to not get discouraged and to keep on trying. It would be the most I have lost since the 2nd month after surgery, but I'm going to give it my all!!

Marilyn I also take the Vita Fusion chewable gummies.

Julie - love your new pic, you look fab.

So apparently (after going back to the March thread) I didn't participate in March goals??? Anyway for April here are my plans:

    1. Attend my support group meeting, which is tonite
    2. Lower my carb intake
    3. Take vitamins consistenly (I do pretty good, but there are days I forget)
    4. Hit the gym 4-5 days per week.
    5. I'd like to see a 10 lb loss for April but I'll be happy with 8.

    Best wishes everyone.

This will be my first time setting goals, so here goes...

    1) Get in my 60 - 80 grams of protein a day.
    2) Drink at least half of my liquids as water.
    3) Lowere my carb intake.

Christine, like you I am afraid to eat food, especially meat, but I will keep trying slowly.

This is my first time here. I don't have a very good track record with goals, but here goes...
    1. Lose 10 lbs (but i would be happy with 8).
    2. Work out 1 hour per day at least 5 days per week - 30 min walking dog plus 30 min of something else
    3. Drink ALL my water. And WHY is it so hard???
    4. I can't commit to any more than this.

    1) I would like to lose 5 pounds this month (I am currently 174 pounds). Weight loss has really slowed down because I am close to goal, but I think 5 pounds is totally doable.

    2) Keep up with my resistance/weight lifting. I want to do these activities at least 4 times a week.

    3) Make certain to take my vitamins every day (I have been slacking off from time to time).

    4) Attend the support group meeting this month (10th).

    5) Attend my appointment with my psychologist on the 26th.

    6) Activate my Groupon for the 10-kick boxing classes! This is something I would have never tried in the past, but now I am willing to step outside my comfort zone.

    So what are your goals??

Remember this isn't a contest or a race! Whether you have one or one hundred goals this is YOUR journey. This is merely a way of making yourself step-up and be accountable!

Best wishes on reaching/achieving your goals everyone!

Oh time to revisit these...let's see..

    1) Last time I weighed myself I was at 171, so I lost 3 pounds. Not the 5 I wanted but I am okay with it!
    2) I did really well with the weight lifting I did meet this goal. This month I am going to focus more on resistance training.
    3) I did not miss a day of vitamins this month...goal met!
    4) I met this goal! The topic as about hair loss...I learned a lot. I am now therapeutic hair brushing every night
    5) Had a great appointment with my psychologist this month! Learning a lot about my "unrealistic" thought patterns.
    6) I did not activate my Groupon. And probably will not until after the end of this semester (Mid-May).

    How did you all do?

    2. Only have 1 piece of cake on my birthday! My birthday is April 9th and of course everyone wants to stuff the fat girl with cake. Only 1 piece of cake for me!!!

    3. Get back to going to the gym 3-4 times a week!! I was doing really good until the last 3-4 weeks when my supervisor went out for surgery-so I have been working 50-60 hours a week. And I have 2 kids that play sports. Makes for a busy busy week.

    4. Make 2 of my gym days before work. This (5 a.m workouts) should be interesting!!

    5. Buy myself some new clothes!! Everyone keeps telling me I need to buy some new clothes that don't hang off me. I keep telling them I am waiting until it warms up a bit. It's finally warming up. I guess I can't wait much longer--or I will at least need a new belt to hold my pants up

    Good luck everyone!!
    OK.

    1. I lost 9 pounds. I am pretty happy with that. I am stuck at a plateau or I probably could've lost more than that. I also reintroduced some carbs into my diet so I'm sure that slowed things down a bit too.

    2. I only ate 1 piece of cake (actually a cupcake) on my birthday. But I had a piece of cake 2 days before my birthday too. BUT---before the sleeve I would've eaten half the cake--so I figure I did really well!!

    3. I am back going to the gym 3-4 times a week!! Winner winner chicken dinner!!

    4. EPIC FAIL--I tried going to the gym before work. I was exhausted by lunch. It was just way too hard.

    5. I did by a few new clothes. Even though it's easier to buy clothes now--I don't have to shop in the in women's section anymore--I still have some self esteem problems when I comes to clothes buying I need to work through. (And I did buy a new belt too!!)
Highest weight March 2012: 350 (that I know of--at my referral appointment with PCP)
    Pre-op diet weight: 305
    Day of surgery: 292
May 18, 2013 Officially lost half of my body weight since my journey started!! From 350 down to 175!!
